Mar.    1920: Nakashima Shigeru Shoten is founded as an importer and distributor of pharmaceuticals and medical devices in Manila, the Republic of Philippines.
Dec.    1939: Incorporated Nakajima Shigeru Shoten in Osaka, Japan.
Jul    1952: Corporate name changes to Nippon Shoji Kaisha, Ltd.
Jun.    1991: Nippon Shoji Kaisha, Ltd. listed on the Second Section of the Osaka Stock Exchange.
Sep.    1996: Trading began on the First Section of the Osaka Stock Exchange.
Oct.    1998: Nippon Shoji and Showa Pharmaceuticals merge to form AZWELL Inc.
Feb.    1999: AZWELL was listed on the First Section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange.
Dec.    2000: AZWELL was listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Sep.    2003: AZWELL Inc. and Fukujin Co., Ltd. merged to found Alfresa Holdings Corporation.

Oct.    2004: Alfresa Pharma Corporation was created.
Nov.    2009: Opened Okayama Plant’s Second Drug Formulation Facility.
